What an enquiry contains
If you submit an enabled online enquiry, it contains your name, email, telephone number, requested service, appliance type, property address and Eircode, your preferred days and times, and any optional date or message you provide. Please include only information needed to discuss your chimney service.
Why we use it
Enquiry details are used to respond to your request, discuss the work and arrange an appointment. Processing necessary to take steps at your request before a service contract is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security processing is based on legitimate interests in preventing abuse. The privacy checkbox records that you have read this notice; it is not consent to marketing.
Delivery and service providers
The website is hosted by Vercel. Where online email delivery is configured, enquiries are transmitted through Resend to the business mailbox. A configured rate limit service uses a short-lived pseudonymous identifier derived from the connection IP address to help prevent abuse. Enquiry text is not stored in a website database or included in application logs.
Online requests are currently available only when the delivery service has been connected. If the website offers an email draft instead, the details remain in your browser until you choose to open your email app and send the message. Your email provider then handles that message.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are kept in the business mailbox for as long as needed to respond, arrange work and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact Patrick about retention or deletion of an enquiry. Any confirmed customer records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information, and exercise applicable rights to restrict processing, object or obtain a portable copy. Contact Patrick using the email above. You may raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
Cookies and third-party content
This website does not install advertising cookies or use analytics tracking. Images and fonts are served with the website. Hosting security may process technical request information, and protected Vercel previews may require Vercel authentication. External safety and photography links open services with their own privacy policies.
International processing
Hosting, email delivery and anti-abuse providers may process technical or enquiry data outside the EEA subject to their applicable contractual safeguards. Contact Patrick for information about the providers used for an enabled enquiry service.
